The Arizona Grain Research and Promotion Council (AGRPC) is allowed to support programs and projects that help educate the public, promote Arizona-grown grain, and strengthen the state’s grain industry.
Right now, the AGRPC is especially interested in projects that improve the economic sustainability of small grain production in Arizona — for example, projects that focus on the resources farmers need to grow these crops.
The Council can also provide funding for research through grants to support:
Reducing the amount of fresh water used in grain production
Developing new types of grain
Improving how grains are grown and handled
Designing better tools and equipment for harvesting and handling
Projects may involve other crops as long as they provide a clear benefit to small grain production.
If you have a project that aligns with these goals, we encourage you to apply for funding. Visit the AZDA website to learn more and apply.
