Patty Emmert

Director of Resilient Food Systems, Local First Arizona 

Patty Emmert is the Director of Resilient Food Systems at Local First Arizona. She has years of experience in the food and farming sphere. She previously served as the Director for Slow Food Phoenix and as the Community Relations and Marketing Manager at Duncan Family Farms, a certified organic farm specializing in leafy greens and specialty vegetables. She currently sits on the Farm to School Network as their Production Chair and is a member of the Food and Agricultural Advisory Committee (FAPAC) for the Arizona Department of Agriculture.

Patty uses her diverse and vast experience in community-based food systems to ensure Local First Arizona's programs directly address and diminish systemic food security challenges across the state while supporting and advancing local farmers.
