Loyal to Local: Phoenix Farmers Markets Summer Schedules

Looking for a way to beat the heat with your family this summer? How about a visit to your closest local farmers market! The Phoenix metro area offers countless opportunities to participate in the local food market during the fall, winter, and spring months, but 8 especially resilient markets stay open throughout the summer for your enjoyment and to provide fresh, seasonal, local foods and produce. Foods available are seasonally rotated to accommodate growing and harvesting seasons––meaning you might see a different selection of fresh produce than you’re most familiar with. But when you shop at the market, every fruit or veggie offered is grown under the Arizona summer sun! Each item offered is grown or produced locally, which ensures that at least 52 cents of every dollar spent on these local products stay in our local economy! So come out, enjoy some great food and shopping, and support your local farmers and business owners!
