Rosanne Albright  

Environmental Programs Coordinator, Brownfields, and Food Systems Programs, City of Phoenix

Rosanne Albright is an Environmental Programs Coordinator for the City of Phoenix, Office of Environmental Programs and is responsible for managing food systems and brownfields redevelopment programs. She developed the Phoenix Food Systems Program, a new program established in 2021 with municipal funds for staff and program activities. She collaborated with many stakeholders to create the 2025 Phoenix Food Action Plan and is implementing the plan. Rosanne also secured $16.4 million from the City’s allocation of Coronavirus funds for several food system programs. Additionally, she manages the Phoenix Brownfields to Healthfields Initiative, which is focused on the cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated sites for food and healthcare assets. She assisted in the development of the 2021 Phoenix Climate Action Plan, which includes food system goals. 

Rosanne participates in the EPA National Environmental Justice Advisory Council Superfund Working Group; the U.S. Green Building Council LEED for Cities and Communities Work Group; is a founding member of the Maricopa County Food System Coalition; a Steering Committee Member for the Coalition for Farmland Preservation (Arizona); and serves on the US Department of Agriculture NRCS Arizona Urban and Small Farm Subcommittee.
