What’s Cooking at the World Bazaar?

unnamed As the holidays approach, the warm aromatics are creeping back into our lives- gingerbread cookies, rich soups and stews, and spiced drinks. These familiar flavors are delicious, but if you’re looking for something new and interesting come out to the family friendly World Bazaar and Phoenix Community Market on Saturday, December 3rd from 10 AM – 2 PM for a taste of unique dishes, treats, and other market goods.

Start with a steaming cup of Ethiopian coffee from Bhati Bazaar, sample a samosa or two from Abyssinia Café and then browse a variety of holiday gifts from local vendors. To satisfy your shopping hunger pangs snag a couple tamales from Happy Tamales, or enjoy some Puerto Rican cuisine from Puerto Rico Latin Grill. Leave some room in your shopping bag to take home some locally grown produce from the farmer’s market and in your stomach for a delicious piece of baklava.
